Okay, so this is what my favorite dress looks like on a model.

David's Bridal Revisited

Much happier with this DB experience! This one was one I picked out online. It's pretty but I think it's a little too fancy.

Picked this one out from the catalog. I thought it would be too fitted to be flattering but I was actually pleasantly surprised! Still a tad too fancy for me though.

Back view.

This one is my favorite. Not this particular size obviously, but the dress itself. It was light and airy and comfortable, and the sash can be easily switched out for something more colorful.

And this one was the Eden Bridals one I had picked out for so long...I was totally disappointed! In real life it barely resembles the picture I fell so in love with. It was gaudy and heavy and cumbersome.

David's Bridesmaids

My favorite one on Mindy. This is the new Guava color that's the closest to the coral pink I picture in my mind.

My favorite one on Maggie.

Switched around...still cute, but I like them the other way best!

Mindy didn't like this one as much but I think it's still adorable.

Favors

On a whim, I checked out some little candles and votives at Walmart, and bought a couple to try out. I made one and just loved it so the next morning before work I stopped and picked up a few more...and then again after work. The little apothecary jars (which they're called, apparently) are just so darn cute.

My original idea was to wrap a plain votive in paper, add a ribbon, and set it at each place setting. On their way in, the guests would find the matchbox with their name on it, and then find the corresponding candle at the table. After I realized I probably couldn't find this kind of candle online in bulk for under $1 a piece, I decided that since guys really don't care about favors, I could figure out something else match-related for them. Then a customer suggested doing matchbooks for the guys, and candles for the gals. Since a package of 10 matchboxes is $.97 at Walmart, that got me excited. Then one thing led to another...

Eden For Me

#1342

I think I'm starting to branch out from strapless gowns. This one has subtle chiffon straps overlaying the sweetheart neckline. I actually really like this one, I just wish it had a lace overlay on the skirt.

#1364

Pretty, simple chiffon. A sash could easily be added I think.

#1341

This one has a really pretty embellished bodice. The only thing I don't like is that the sash isn't removable and doesn't come in more interesting colors.

#1320

And lest we forget my original (and quite possibly, still current) favorite.

New Eden Bridals...

Eden Bridals has some new dresses up on their website. These were my favorites.

#7279

I love love love this one! Plus it's shown in my exact colors, which probably helps. Still, I think it's cute, flirty and not too terribly bridesmaid-y.

#7270

This one is cute too. I like the pleating at the bottom that kind of gives it an antique-y look.

#7277

This one looks fun, though we probably wouldn't want to be wearing it on a windy day.
