Oops...

I've been busy playing again. Thought I'd add some veils and different hairstyles for fun.

And I was trying to figure out a way to integrate some color into the guys' wardrobe. I love the green! They have fabric flower pins that are really cute (but for some reason don't work with this virtual planning thing) that we could get in green for the girls. It might work!

A couple more David's Bridal scenarios...

I think I'm liking this wedding party look. David in black because he's so darn dashing in black, the guys in ivory since I refuse to put them in pink (although--what do we think about a pink pocket square thing, just to tie in the color?). I have Mindy and Maggie in basic styles with the ruched ivory sash, and Meg in separates with the peek-a-boo skirt.

That's a whole lotta me...but I just wanted to put some slightly different looks together. I don't think I tried a single one of these on at the store but I need to soon! I think I like the slimmer skirts better. They seem a little less...high maintenance. I tried out all the different sashes just for fun. Just refer to them as 1-8.

Alexia Designs

These dresses come in a coral pink, and the lace is available in white, ivory and black. http://alexiadesigns.com/

Forever Bridals

Some affordable styles I like for myself (picture them all in ivory of course!): http://foreverbridals.com/

I absolutely LOVE this one. And the pictured colors are almost perfect too!

As well as some cute maids too!

This style matches my top favorite, but are they too similar?

Bridesmaid Options

Here are a couple scenarios from David's Bridal. http://www.davidsbridal.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Category_-49998971

These dresses are all simple and versatile, and cost just $105. Adding the sash makes them all super-cute! Plus, the peek-a-boo skirt adds some extra length for Meg, and sets her apart as the maid of honor.

This is what they would actually look like in real life--the dresses are the same styles as above, just not in the right color scheme.

I like this look too--the bridesmaid in the middle, wearing the same dress style as the blonde (Maggie) above, only with a self-colored sash with a flower added. So pretty!

Separates are another option, but would cost more, and I don't like the tops as much.

Flower Girl Dress

This is the dress my mom and I found at Penney's for a whopping $6. The coral pink is perfect, but the lace overlay is pure white rather than ivory. Not a total deal-breaker, but might make my ivory dress look dingy. It has bows on the front and back (I have no idea why, but it's not like you can see both sides at once anyway.)

Here is a close-up of the lace. Unfortunately, it's sewn all around the neck, arms and waist. So it's not like it would be easy to remove it and dye it ivory.

A swatch of David's Bridal Candy Pink for comparison. It doesn't clash, but the swatch is much lighter than I would prefer.

Whoa...it's been a while!

So here's a new idea I've been considering lately. Ivory bridesmaid dress for me = a savings of at least $300! These two by Bill Levkoff would look great together, although I'm not too fond of the idea of asking my bridesmaids to spend over $200 on a dress. http://billlevkoff.com/

And I think this one would make a pretty bridal gown as well.
