Flower Girl!

This is the dress.

This is the right color but wrong size.

This is the girl in the right dress but wrong color.

This is the back view with a cute sash and bow.

This is a super-cute headband to match!

And these are just for fun. :)

Flowers

I definitely want to go with Calla lilies. They may not be original but they're classic and beautiful and I want to do something simple. I'm about 90% sure I can do the bouquets and corsages and boutonnieres myself (with maybe just a little help!). It would save a bunch of money anyway. A friend gave me the idea to order them in bulk, and they were beautiful and affordable too.

Simple, elegant hand-tied bouquets.

I love these! I could tie the groomsmen and ring bearer's with guava ribbon to match the bridal party.

I found some instructions that sound simple enough. I could always pick up a few fake flowers to practice with first! http://www.ehow.com/how_4454927_make-calla-lily-boutonneire.html

And here are a couple of ordering options, depending how many flowers I need.

Sam's Club
Do I absolutely need 150 mini callas? Probably not, but I'm sure I could use them for something.

Costco
They offer more managable quantities, but don't have minis.

THE DRESS!

Yep. This is the one.

Minus the flowers.

Back view. I used to not like the charmeuse sash but I think it's really pretty now. The colored one I tried was too glaring.

This cute flower is easily removable--I could wear it in pictures with the bridesmaids to tie in the color of their dresses.

Unfortunately, I have to have extra length added. It's the perfect length if I go barefoot, and even with just little heels, my feet stick out.

Cute shoesies! They have a perfect 2-inch heel that's wider at the bottom for easier walking on grassy terrain, and they're pretty comfy. Don't know for sure on these yet but I definitely like them.

And here's a new flower girl dress from DB as well. It's the same fabric as the bridesmaid dress and has similar styling. I was hoping to use the $6 dress from Penney's but it really clashes with the guava color and it looks horrible next to an ivory gown. This one is $79, but it matches the others perfectly and it's super cute! For some reason I can't get the big picture to load on my computer, so if you want to see a bigger image, click here, then click on the Guava swatch to colorize: http://www.davidsbridal.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplayView?storeId=10052&catalogId=10051&catentryId=6144184

And the winner is...

David's Bridal #83312
It's cotton, strapless, and has pockets! This is what Mindy and Maggie both picked. I absolutely love it!
Okay, so this is what my favorite dress looks like on a model.
